The Tamarack Lodge Motel is a great place to stay in North Lake Tahoe. Our four acres feel like a thousand. Burton Creek State Park with its hiking, mountain biking, and snow shoeing is on one side of us. Tahoe Conservancy land is on the other side. The Lake is a ten minute walk, or a one minute drive. Tahoe City is one mile away, and everything you want to see and do in North Lake Tahoe is nearby. Or you can stay right here and play horseshoes and table tennis while you picnic and barbecue. The outdoor fireplace and artesian spring water on tap are two of our most remarkable features. Tamarack has 21 rooms and cabins. Eleven of these have full kitchens, most are pet friendly, and the Old Tahoe feeling abounds. Tamarack is probably the oldest continually operated family business in North Lake Tahoe, with our centennial coming up in 2027. But this old place is getting updates. We are being very attentive to COVID-19 and have completely re-thought how we do most everything. Please see our website to learn more, www.stayattahoe.com. We are striving to keep our rates affordable, and we give a little break on the price of our rooms if you stay two nights, a bigger break if you stay four nights, and a bigger one still for stays of six nights or more. At busy times our rooms have a minimum stay requirement. Our cabins normally require a two day stay, but that goes to three days in peak periods. We hope you'll reserve with us, thanks for looking.
